As a long-time sufferer of sever TMJ disorder, I had almost given up hope that I could ever get relief from the constant jaw pain, migraines, clenching and neck and cervical spine pain I experienced on a daily basis. I was recommended to Dr. Slota by my dentist after I bit through the second night guard they gave me in 90 days. While I was wary of spending more money, as TMJ treatments are rarely covered by insurance, desperation led me to give the splint that Dr. Slota offered a try. In short, the splint has changed my life. My migraines are gone. Never does a day go by that I do not wear my splint - it helps me that much! The clenching at night has improved greatly, and I no longer wake up with a sore jaw. Dr. Slota has very specialized and in-depth training in a field which is just not well known, and it truly shows. He has helped to improve the quality of my life immensely!
